Our vision for reconciliation is a community which recognises and celebrates First Nations peoples and communities, weaving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ experiences, perspectives, science, languages, cultures, histories and heritages into our built and natural environments, teaching, celebrations and curriculum.
Through our reconciliation actions we hope to embed a sustainable way of being in the community which nurtures the natural curiosity of the child and the desire to understand the world. Throughout their time at Canberra Montessori School students will deepen their understanding and appreciation of Ngunnawal Country, Culture and People, and of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and nations.
