The Moriah community, as Jewish Australians, recognises and highly regards our obligation to be meaningfully engaged in the process of reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider community. We are committed to promoting recognition, understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their cultures, histories and connections to Country. We will work hand in hand with the local First Nations communities and to be guided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders to foster ongoing relationships. The aim of our RAP is to identify and pursue opportunities to advance reconciliation as part of Moriah College's core teachings and beliefs: to learn, to heed, to act. We will seek to celebrate, value and include the wisdom and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into the learning and life of our school, recognising and appreciating both the diversity and similarities between our cultures.
