KPSOOSH's vision for reconciliation is to build a sense of community where First Nations peoples cultures, languages, and knowledge systems are celebrated and valued. As KPSOOSH, we believe Educators play a vital role in shaping the beliefs and behaviours of students by respectfully teaching and acknowledging the historical and ongoing injustices experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. This allows students and young people to implement ways in their lives to work towards healing, mutual respect, and understanding between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people. At KPSOOSH, we aspire to cultivate a community that is equal, fair, and accepting of all nations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. By engaging with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait organisations, cultural centres, and community leaders, we can further strengthen our understanding of reconciliation, sphere of influence and promote reconciliation.
