At Quantin Binnah, reconciliation means fostering meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, respect, and a culturally responsive society built on mutual understanding and shared values. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) reflects our commitment to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, particularly honouring the Bunurong people, the Traditional Custodians of the land, and their neighbours, the Wadawurrung people. We provide staff with cultural responsiveness training, developed in consultation with local First Nations communities, including the Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples. We respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, histories and cultures into daily practices, creating culturally responsive environments that celebrate the heritage of the Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples. By collaborating with these communities and broader First Nations groups, we advance our shared journey toward reconciliation, unity, and respect.
