VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation  is to turn new learnings and understandings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories  into measurable actions that improve equal, equitable and educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island children , which in turn benefits all Australians.  Our reconciliation learning journey is in collaboration with KU Inclusion Support and under the guidance of the Centre for Cultural Competence Australia. Through this collaboration and guidance, we  commit to shaping the foundations for relationships, respect and opportunities within our school, learning environments and in the community. Through the continued development and implementation of our RAP, we strive to  contribute to the national reconciliation movement both internally within our program and externally within our community. We aim to ensure that active respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives is embedded within the hearts and minds of all current and future members of our community Centre.
