VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Happy Valley Early Learning Centre, reconciliation means creating a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's histories, cultures, and contributions are respected, valued, and acknowledged every day.

We are committed to building relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, based on trust, understanding, and respect, so that children, families, educators, and our wider community can learn and grow together.

Through our daily practices, environments, and curriculum, we aim to nurture a spirit of belonging, inclusion, and connection, ensuring that every child develops pride in Australia's First Nations peoples and a sense of responsibility for a reconciled future.
