VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Little Superstars Early Learning Centre, our Vision for Reconciliation is deeply intertwined with our core service philosophy. We acknowledge the cultural histories of the Dharug people, Traditional Custodians of the beautiful Country. We're committed to respectfully including the rich heritages and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into the fabric of our learning environment.

Aligned with our values of integrity, education, leadership, collaboration, and community, our vision is to foster a learning journey enriched with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island perspectives. We strive to create an inclusive future where every child appreciates the significance of Australia's First Peoples. Our curriculum and daily practices will thoughtfully include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' histories and perspectives, guided by our educators' commitment to continuous learning and respectful representation.

We envision a community where children, families, educators, and staff unite in celebrating and learning from diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. We are committed to continuing to learn about the true history of the Land our centre is on and learn about the stories of the Country and people from Traditional Custodians that will inform our programs and help us integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures into our children's everyday experiences. Our goal is to nurture not just lifelong learners but compassionate individuals who respect and value the First Australians.

Our reconciliation journey is an integral part of our mission to contribute to a respectful and understanding society where the rich heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is recognised and valued in our collective path forward.
