At Kindy House Early Learning, we are committed to embedding reconciliation into the heart of our service. We honour and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations Custodians of this Land and recognise their continuing connections to Land, culture, and community. We strive to create and maintain a culturally safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every child, family, and educator feels a sense of belonging. Through culturally appropriate practices, meaningful relationships, and intentional learning experiences, we celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and promote respect for everyones identities, and ways of knowing. Our vision is to nurture curious, compassionate learners who value fairness, empathy, and social justice. We embed reconciliation through everyday practice by acknowledging Country, deepening our understanding of First Nations perspectives, engaging with the local First Nations community, and learning together through play, stories, and shared experiences. We believe reconciliation is a journey we walk together. By partnering with families, community members, and local organisations, we aim to build and maintain strong, respectful connections that support children to grow as confident, culturally aware, and active participants in a reconciled and connected world.
