Effectively working towards reconciliation is the responsibility all non-Indigenous people As educators, Riverbanks B-12 Early Learning and Care aim to acknowledge and teach about the true histories of our nation; the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island people. In the most authentic ways possible, we will respectfully include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures into our learning, allowing children to connect, understand, and respect these cultures and their values. The learning that we will expose learners to will be evolving as we connect with our community to develop our understandings, however it will always role model respect and appreciation of these cultures in the hope that we can play our part in reaching reconciliation.
