VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Here at Little Achiever's we acknowledge and pay our respects to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation plus value the cultural histories, heritages and traditions of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We will continue to educate and support our staff, children, families, stakeholders and the local community so they can develop an understanding, knowledge and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. As a service we work to provide an inclusive and diverse workplace that:

-Welcomes all families and children

-Recognises and respectfully provides equal and equitable opportunities for all children to understand and exercise their rights especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

-Respectfully and deeply embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives to the extent that it is entrenched in our framework

-We are committed to sourcing and attending opportunities to increase educator and community awareness of the longstanding and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

-Work closely and respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities

We acknowledge that our RAP is an evolving document which requires input from everyone across our community so we can grow individually, as a team and as an organistaion, which will continue to dirve ourvision for reconciliation. We are committed to ensuring that our RAP is a living document that empowers us to  contribute to Australia's reconciliation movement as defined by the five dimensions of reconciliation.

Our commitment to this process mirrors our values of respect for diversity, inclusion, advocacy for the rights of every child, justice, honesty and courage.
