Creative Learning and Play recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our services are offered while striving to bring equal and equitable educational opportunities to all children. We provide an inclusive community of practice between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as well as our wider community which creates a positive pathway for our children to work towards growing stronger, respectful connections. Acknowledgement of meaningful events and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is proactively imbedded into our weekly curriculum which recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our services are offered. Through this vision we lay the basic foundations for future generations to value and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and histories as a significant part of our shared identity.
