Village Early Education Eureka's vision for reconciliation is to promote inclusion and acknowledging the ongoing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with their Land. It's our responsibly to learn about and teach children the true histories of the First Nations peoples of Australia. We will continue to respectfully foster relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members within our local community. Through our practice and relationships, we will ensure, everyone who enters our service is aware of our commitment to reconciliation. We are committed in supporting all educators to up skill their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures and to respectfully and appropriately share this with the children, families, and wider community.
