Our vision is for the families and community members of Fitzgibbon Early Learning to feel valued, culturally respected, and safe within our centre. We strive to further enhance the understanding and acknowledgement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, heritages, and perspectives. We are committed to engaging with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to build respectful relationships and connections. As we continue to build and maintain connections in the local community, we will ensure our educators are respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and perspectives into our service, curriculum and daily practices. Is it our priority to empower ourselves, our children and families with the knowledge of Australia’s First Nations peoples and to celebrate the strengths and resilience of communities throughout Fitzgibbon Early Learning.
