Our vision for reconciliation is a Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are treated with equality, unity and equity.
A vision for all Australians to understand and accept the past and to ensure the wrongs are never repeated and we seek to understand and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, rights and experiences. We support reconciliation within Seedlings and Co- Calamvale, through an inclusive, culturally safe and diverse learning environment where reconciliation means envisioning the future of our centre as having great sense of respect and understanding towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are continuing our learning and deepening our of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions, cultures and embedding them in our daily practices and activities.
We will seek to engage the local First Nation’s community and to participate learning experiences to further develop our centre’s cultural responsiveness.
