The vision for reconciliation for Hoppers Crossing Montessori is one that embraces connectivity between the wider community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds, and actions of all Australians as we move forward creating a nation strengthened and fueled by connectivity and connection. A nation run by respectful relationships between the wider Australian Community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, free from discrimination.
We are committed to working in a respectful way with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, and communities. HCMC will continue to help the children, staff, and families to deepen their awareness of the rich and diverse histories, cultures, and practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a Montessori Centre, we want to ensure the younger generation connects and learn about the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
