VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Yerrabi Ponds by Busy Bees is to continue to ensure there are opportunities for deepening our knowledge and understanding, and learning about the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.

We will continue to ensure this is opportunity is extended to educators', children and their families, to ensure everyone across our learning community has the confidence, knowledge and understanding to develop and maintain relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. We will continue to provide meaningful and authentic learning opportunities for children by respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our pedagogy, practice and programs.

Our vision is to strengthen the relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people in our local community through acceptance, equality, equity, and unity. We will continue to  develop and maintain a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are actively heard, and all children are provided equal and equitable opportunities.  Now more than ever!
