To Fun Club @ Wollongong East, reconciliation means that we acknowledge the First Nations peoples' ways of being, their cultures, traditions and contributions. It is important to us that we build awareness of what a reconciled Australia could look like to our families, educators, and local community, where every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child, family and staff member's culture, beliefs and ways of being are respected and valued. We strive to build strong respectful and reciprocal relationships within the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities to help grow our knowledge and understanding of First Nations peoples. cultures and histories within our learning environments and curriculum.
