Fun Club @ Albion Park strives to provide an inclusive environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures are recognised and celebrated. We believe in an equal and equitable country and walking hand in hand with First Nations Peoples to create a reconciled Australia. We aim to learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and share knowledge, histories, cultures and more. We believe in respectfully embedding First Nations peoples’ cultures into our everyday life and working towards educating all children and building a brighter future. We aim to provide a safe environment where First Nations Peoples feel comfortable to share their culture if they so chose and feel welcomed and included in our space. We endeavor to educate children on the continuing connection First Nations Peoples have with the land, water, sky and community, and wish to foster positive relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community here on Dharawal Country. We strive to ensure our children and educators develop knowledge, understanding and respect for the Wodi Wodi Peoples and continue to work towards a deeper understanding of First Nations peoples’ histories and cultures.
