Our vision for reconciliation is for all children and staff in our centre to continue to be mindful and respectful of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories. As Educational professionals we will continue to engage in professional development to ensure that we are more knowledgeable about the First Peoples perspectives as well as how we respectfully embed these perspectives in our practice and daily routines. We acknowledge the Yuggera people to be the caretakers of the Land in our region. We wish to appropriately share the knowledge of Elders and members of the Yuggera Nation with our students as they play learn and grow at Avenues Early Learning Centre Camp Hill. As we move on Country, we pay respect to those who have walked before us and we move quietly and in a respectful manner.
