Our vision at Goodstart Early Learning Newstead is to build and support, meaningful and respectful relationships between our services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and our wider Tasmanian community. As part of our wider community, we encourage learning, connection and respectful sharing of knowledge, cultures, histories and experiences between First Nation peoples and the wider community, which allows us to grow together.
We at Goodstart Early Learning Newstead have created an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and educators feel welcomed as we demonstrate our respect for their knowledge, cultures and values.
Relationships are key to everything we do at Goodstart Early Learning Newstead, as well as throughout the rest of our lives. We endeavor to build strong connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to help build meaningful relationships.
