VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and contributions are deeply respected, valued, and embedded within all aspects of education. We are committed to creating meaningful and sustained pathways for reconciliation by fostering respectful relationships, promoting cultural understanding, and ensuring First Nations voices are heard, included, and celebrated.

Through our work in education, we strive to build strong, respectful relationships with local First Nations communities, guided by listening, learning, and collaboration. Create culturally safe learning environments that empowers both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous students and staff to engage with truth-telling and shared history. Embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives meaningfully into curriculum, pedagogy, and our centre culture and promote ongoing reflection and accountability within our centre to ensure our reconciliation efforts are sustained and impactful.

Our reconciliation journey is grounded in truth, respect, and action. We understand that reconciliation is not a destination, but an ongoing process, one that requires courage, commitment, and community.
