Here at Goodstart Early Learning Brighton, reconciliation means 'Coming together'.
Reconciliation is a continuous journey, reminding us that we must work together to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, ways of knowing and being, and aspirations for future change are actively respected on an everyday, embedded basis. We are committed to ensuring that all children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, have equal and equitable chances and choices within their early learning experiences and throughout their lifetime .
We believe reconciliation needs to have a focus on building and strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and the wider Australian community, and will continue to work towards building and strengthening these relationships in our local community context.
