Our vision is to provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment that builds strong connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-indigenous children, families, educators and within the community. We respect and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture, practices and perspectives, and respectfully embed learning opportunities for children throughout our daily practices in a culturally aware and responsive manner. We continue to build and maintain trusting and reciprocal relationships with First Nations peoples. We strive to strengthen our ability and share reconciliation with children and our sphere of influence and provide meaningful curriculum enriched with culture and respect for the land on which we learn and Traditional owners. We value, acknowledge and celebrate Gubbi Gubbi histories and continued connections to the Land, and partner together in caring for the Land. We recongnise the historical injustices that and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have experienced since colonisation and we strive to ensure equal and equitable opportunities for both First Nations and non-Indigenous children and future generations.
