Our vision for reconciliation is to maintain a culturally safe learning environment where all children feel welcomed have a sense of belonging. We teach children to respect people from all cultures including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to appreciate what each culture brings to our shared society. We hold strong connections with Elders, community leaders and community members to ensure children are on a continual journey of learning in all areas of society. We acknowledge the past and how it shapes the present and strive to foster learning environments that are inclusive and representative of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. We achieve this through providing opportunities for First Nations voices to inform the development of curriculum and practices.
