Our vision for reconciliation at Play and Learn Childcare Raceveiw is in creating an inclusive, respectful and empowering environment where the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respectfully included in our daily practices. Throughout our services journey, all Educators, Children and our community continue developing our understanding and respect for First Nations Peoples through embedding experiences in the classroom through the curriculum, around the school and with the community. We continue to facilitate opportunities to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through consultation and respectful collaboration, we endeavour to create a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures are embraced and respected, and where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and all children have equal and equitable opportunities to achieve their full potential.
