VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation to us, means, to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous and involves acknowledging and understanding First Nations peoples cultures, histories and perspectives as we  work together to build respect, trust, equality and equity for First Nations peoples.   Our vision for reconciliation is to create a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, histories and perspectives are respectfully recognised, valued, and embedded in everyday practice. We are committed to building meaningful relationships with First Nations peoples, and ensuring that children, educators, and families to deepen their understanding of and respect for First Nations peoples and cultures.  We are aim to contribute to a future where equity, and cultural safety are at the heart of our shared journey toward reconciliation. We want all children and families to feel safe, secure and supported in our service community, where we  all belong, we are one, we learn and grow together.
