At Goodstart Early Learning Tallebudgera, we take reconciliation seriously and understand our responsibility to further develop our understanding of reconciliation. Our vision for reconciliation is to educate children, staff, families, and the wider community of the true histories of Australia as we share teachings about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and contributions. We acknowledge our role to influence and educate current and future generations of Australians to hold a respect for the Traditional Custodians of the Land and the Country we are on.  

We strive to respectfully embed the Yugambeh language and perspectives into our practices with in our program and curriculums with the support and guidance of the Yugambeh people. We are committed to providing quality early education with equal and equitable educational outcomes for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous children. We provide opportunities for all educators, children, and families to further their knowledge, understanding, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories as part of our shared National identity.
