Goodstart Robina Goldwater Avenue and Goodstart Robina Groves recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. We are committed to fostering educators and children’s awareness and understanding of the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our community. By respectfully embedding and embracing diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural perspectives in our everyday practices, we  deepen understandings and connections among all educators and children to enable them to develop a solid educational foundation towards their lifelong journey of equality and equity for all. This closely aligns with our centre vision of nurturing and teaching tomorrow's leaders. As we have continued on our journey and our knowledge and confidence of engaging with reconciliation in education has grown, the educators at the service have developed a deeper understanding of reconciliation and are much more confident with our practices, ensuring that we are all committed to continuing embedding diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’  perspectives into our programs and practices, creating opportunities for rich cultural understanding in our children, families and educators.
