At Wynnum Manly Community Kindergarten, we acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians of the Land, the Quandamooka people. We strive for a future where everyone respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, peoples, and communities and the cultures, histories and knowledges they hold. We are committed to the ongoing of reconciliation in our community, continuing to reflect, acknowledge and respect. We embed culturally respectful perspectives into our programs, environments and routines and are committed to providing authentic experiences to promote appreciation and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and perspectives. We will continue to work with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to develop respectful relationships and to walk hand in hand towards a future of healing, trust, and reconciliation.
