At Morningside Wynnum Road we are committed to providing a culturally safe and inclusive environment for all children, families and educators including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We will provide Educators with authentic opportunities to develop their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 'histories and cultures, especially our local community, the Turball and Jagera People. This will ensure that we are then able to respectfully teach about First Nation People's perspectives and that the children and their families of our educational community can advocate for genuine reconciliation.
