VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Through our participation in the Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan the Holland Park kindy community formally commit to strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and the broader community. We acknowledge that past injustices influence the present and the important role we play in creating justice and equity for all.

We will continue to pay our respects to the Yugerra and Turrabul peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we work and play, and we offer our respects to Elders past and present.

Our vision is to create a community where diversity is celebrated and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives are respectfully woven into our daily routines.

We hope that on entering our Kindy that all people feel a sense of belonging and cultural safety, and that through our reconciliation journey, we can make a positive impact now and for future generations.
