Our vision for reconciliation at Avenues Montessori Children's House - Sunnybank, is for all children and staff to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia's First peoples.
We are committed to the ongoing learning and building of our understandings and respect for First Nations peoples', cultures, histories and perspectives.
Through our daily practices and projects, the Guides will respectfully embed the cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Guides understand the importance of promoting an improved understanding of First Nations culture.
We are committed to creating an Australia that embraces unity between our First Nation peoples, and non-Indigenous Australians of all cultures.
