Our vision for reconciliation is to provide a setting that acknowledges and respects the cultural histories, heritages and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are the First Nations peoples of Australia.
We as educators acknowledge our position of privilege and responsibility for sharing the world we live in, to the children within our care. Therefore, we are committed to strengthening and maintaining equal, equitable and meaningful relationships that are based on mutual trust and respect with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It is through our actions and respectful unity with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, that we hope to help create a future nation that not only places an importance in maintaining equal and equitable educational outcomes for all, but also demonstrates deep respect for the knowledges and values of the oldest, continuous living cultures on the planet.
