At Goodstart Early Learning McDowall, our vision for reconciliation is a culturally safe and nurturing environment that is about bringing everyone together in a place that promotes equality, equity and social justice.. This is where we share and further developing our knowledge of Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, heritages and continuing contributions. We are committed to gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, learning, being and educating.
By establishing a better understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, we develop an enriched appreciation of Australia's cultural heritage and move towards the maturity of Australia as a nation. This will lead to the development of an Australian identity based on mutual respect and trust and support reconciliation.
As we learn, grow and walk together in reconciliation, we are committed to creating a strong and connected future for all our children, Families and Educators at Goodstart McDowall.
