Goodstart Stafford would like to acknowledge the Turrbal, Jagera/Yaggera peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the Land we meet and learn on today. Thank you for caring for the Land. We will take care of the Land each and every day. Goodstart Staffords vision for reconciliation is to educate children, educators and families about the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and Lands in the local area and across Australia and the true histories of Australia. We will ensure an understanding of, and respect for, past, current and future generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will continue to ensure educators are culturally aware, responsive and sensitive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and educators in our centre and broader community to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and all families enrolled in our service can contribute to the programs, feel safe and feel heard. We will ensure our educators engage in professional development to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Isander peoples perspectives into our early learning centre .
