At Marysville and District Kindergarten Association, we unite with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build and maintain meaningful and respectful relationships within our community and broader Australia.
Our vision for reconciliation will be achieved at Marysville Preschool by showing respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their Land, cultures, spirituality and traditions. This is fundamental in our organisation's purpose to enhance children's life opportunities, outcomes and to encourage a positive learning journey.
Marysville Preschool is committed to ensuring that positive relationships are built across our organisation in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Embedding strategies to achieve reconciliation between First Nations people, we will continue to develop and grow together as one community.
We aim to provide a culturally safe and respectful environment, that is inclusive and where people feel they belong. These actions will work towards developing stronger relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.
Marysville Preschool promotes equity and equality between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community. We pay respect to the local Traditional Custodians of the Land and work towards respectfully incorporating perspectives, histories and heritages into our everyday practices.
