VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Dobell Avenue Preschool, reconciliation means learning together with kindness and respect about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour the First Nations People and Traditional Custodians of the Land and respect their diverse culture, stories and languages. We listen, share and grow together so that First Nations children and all children feel safe, valued and included.      We believe reconciliation starts with understanding. through play, stories and conversations, the truth about the histories of the nation and the steps we can take to build future where everyone belongs. We commit to walk with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on our reconciliation journey.
