Our vision for reconciliation is a future in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are recognised as the First Nations People of Australia, and their rich knowledges of science, math, language, and art is valued, understood and celebrated across our service, Australia and beyond. Our serivce will continue to work towards fostering an educational environment that acknowledges Elders past, present and future. This will be done by creating a place that values equity and equality through ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities have their voices heard.
Through listening to and learning from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and perspectives, we will take action to uphold their unique rights and maintain an environment that promotes inclusion alongside the safety and wellbeing of every child. We provide a kindergarten program in which all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all Australians are respected and valued as part of our communities' reconciliation journey.
We recognise reconciliation as an ongoing process, and we will continue to reflect upon our practices and take action by building and maintaining relationships with First Nations people in the local community.
