Elonera's vision for reconciliation in our service is to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories and understand how to respectfully include these perspectives in our program and daily practices to provide a welcoming environment to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and teach all children about the cultural heritages of First Nation peoples. We endeavour to show respect for the cultures of all First Nations children and families of the service and within the wider community and to respectfully collaborate with others in the community to increase our knowledge and understanding. Elonera teaching team are committed to doing our best to incorporate First Nations perspectives into our curriculum as well as respect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of raising children.
