Our vision for reconciliation is for First Nations and non-Indigenous peoples to come together in acknowledgement, trust, and respect. To truly achieve reconciliation, we must move forward together and while always acknowledging past histories and injustices, we will endeavour to create a future of equity, equality and strength. We believe reconciliation will be achieved not by the words we write on paper, but by our choices and the actions we take to educate future generations through our everyday meaningful actions. Our vision is one of importance surrounding First Nations people’s cultures, histories and futures and choose to be a part of the move for change in a positive and meaningful manner.
