Our vision at the Stables Kindergarten is for our children to embrace and carry with them knowledge of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, their cultures and their histories. At the Stables Kindergarten we acknowledge the importance of and the need for reconciliation in our community. We aim to work closely with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in our area to provide rich and meaningful experiences that complement our holistic program. The staff at the Stables Kindergarten will gather and broaden their knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and perspectives though continuous professional development so that we can embed this in a culturally respectful and safe manner with our children and families.
