We at The Grove promote high quality learning through an engaging curriculum, encouraging empowerment and agency that enhances children’s voice and individuality. We encompass a combined variety of pedagogies and practices for sharing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives with the service community.
We value the ongoing collaboration and partnerships with community and families that foster an inclusive and innovative environment, supporting all students, staff and stakeholders to understand and engage with reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.
We recognise the relationship of, yet distinctions between, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and reconciliation in education. We strive towards a future with greater educational reflections, implemented actions and a more inclusive attitude for First Nations peoples.
We actively seek opportunities to welcome diverse perspectives and the inclusion of community voices in establishing and guiding the goals, actions and achievements at The Grove and on our educational influence and impacts across the local community.
