One Tree Coventry Defence Childcare Unit's vision is to continue our journey working in collaboration with and walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, inviting them to be our teachers and drawing on their strengths and knowledge. We also have our One Tree Vision which is to see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people celebrated and restored to a place of equity, dignity and respect particularly the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children we are privileged to work with as we value and respects the knowledge and heritage of Australia's First Nations People. We are commit to continuing to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on this journey to reconciliation. Our RAP will support us to consult with, work alongside and actively listen to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the communities we are based to embed practices that will advance the cause of genuine reconciliation. Coventry DCU aspires to see the wisdom of Elders past and present to continue to be shared in our services, with our staff, trainees, families, children.
