At Courallie Park Preschool and Early Education Centre our vision for reconciliation is driven by hope, truth, trust and respect, fostering safe and equitable relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, non-Indigenous Australians and our educational learning community. We will shar our learnings of ourtruehistories, and instill the above foundational values, engaging in self-reflection and building and understanding to advance reconciliation among staff, children, their families, and the wider community. Our vision for reconciliation is a shared journey of unity and commitment to respecting and valuing First Nations peoples and the Traditional Custodians of Wiradjuri Land on which we live, work, learn and play. We will share our learnings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ways of knowing, learning and being. By respectfully embedding First Nations perspectives within our daily pedagogy and educational practices, we create a culturally safe and equitable environment, where our actions will be underpinned by the core values of respect, learning and knowledge sharing guide our reconciliation journey.
