Linked to our Tathra Preschool philosophy of care, empathy and respect, our vision for reconciliation is that children, families, and educators in our service are part of a vibrant welcoming community that is connected to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and to Djiringanj Country where our preschool sits. We envision a place where learn to we care for Country, respectful relationships between First Nation people and the wider community, acknowledging Australia's true shared history and unity are championed.
We aspire to contribute to deepening our knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in our community. We will continue our positive attitude towards reconciliation, and desire for, an inclusive and socially just future.
