Our vision for reconciliation at Octopus Garden Preschool Early Learning Service is to have an informed community that values the unique history, contributions, Country and culture of the First Nations Peoples of the Yuin Nation.
We will seek to achieve this through engagement with the local community, ongoing training and self-reflection by educators, developing an inclusive organisation structure, providing equitable opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and using our Reconciliation Action Plan as a tool to guide our direction and reflection on our journey.
Our service will work with the local community to foster connections with and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories.
