Our vision it to be an inclusive Preschool founded on embracing unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and all Australians. Through recognition of true history, strengthening our relations with local Elders and families and striving for equality and equity we educate our children and ourselves as a community of practice, so that they can move forward and be advocates for a life free from racism, bias and discrimination, forging stronger relationships based on trust and respect.
As Yamba Preschool continues to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and perspectives through deepening our understandings and personal connections, our vision is one that everyone feels culturally safe, equitable and equal.
