VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Spotted Frog, we acknowledge the Darkinjung people as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live and learn, and we pay respect to Elders past, present, and emerging. We believe reconciliation is essential to ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and educators feel valued, respected, and welcomed.   We are committed to strengthening relationships with First Nations communities, children, families, and educators, and to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in everything we do. We actively seek guidance from First Nations Elders, educators, and families as we  ensure our programs, policies, and practices are culturally respectful and inclusive.   We value the rich customs, traditions, and knowledges of First Nations peoples and aim to guide children, families, and educators in understanding and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander  peoples and cultures. Our programs foster a sense of belonging for all children with opportunities to expand their knowledge, empathy, and respect for First Nations peoples and cultures..  Through learning, engaging in celebration, and community engagement, we strive to nurture understanding, respect, and meaningful relationships between everyone across our learning community  and First Nations communities. Our vision is to to continue learning  respectfully educating children, and ourselves about reconciliation. We are committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and growth in reconciliation, guiding the current and next generations toward a more inclusive, understanding, and reconciled future.
