VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we live, work and gather. We recognise their deep and enduring connections to Country, waters and skies and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge the painful history of colonisation, dispossession and justices faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise the strength, resilience and continuing cultures of First Nations communities and commit to walking on a path of truth, healing and justice.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we will commit to meaningful and sustained action towards reconciliation. We will do this through active listening, learning, and working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Ensuring that we foster respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, histories and perspectives and, creating meaningful opportunities for staff, children, families and the wider community to contribute to lasting change and a reconciled community.
