Our vision for reconciliation continues to be that everyone in our community has a sense of inclusion, respect and feels culturally safe within our centre. We celebrate the ongoing custodianship of the Traditional Owners of the Land in a culturally respectful way. Respectfully and authentically thanking, acknowledging, listening, understanding, adopting, communicating, cooperating, learning, encouraging, and helping are a few themes that underpin our ongoing reconciliation journey. We continue to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s cultures, histories, and contributions into our program, into our day-to-day routine and continue to encourage the children to show respect, empathy and recognise the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and contributions.
